Real world choices in the face of negative optimism.

How do we hold ourselves to a more positive optimism? Honesty with self. Unless you are willing to explore the dark that influences you, then optimism can be a false or even negative aspect of inspiration. In an organization, faith in the mission can be called into question if the veracity of the underpinnings of the optimism that has moved the organization forward is found to be faulty or manipulative. In its most intense forms, a failure of trust in the optimism of a group or organization can lead to catastrophic failure when members act out of disappointment and disillusionment. As an exploration of this: Hosting a session where people talk and discuss situations in the real world where they have had to make actual ethical choices, and where and how they found true and authentic optimism.
